This vessel is a Geraldton Boat Builders 42ft Fibreglass vessel. The old reliable Detroit 8V92TA in Come Lucky had finally seen her day after many decades of reliable service. This client wanted a replacement engine which would offer the same lifespan and reliability. Hence, without doubt or hesitation the FPT Cursor 825 was chosen, derated to A2 Rating of 750Hp @ 2400rpm.
The vessel performed exceptionally well providing dramatically reduced fuel consumption and noise, which increased the vessel’s range and the comfort onboard the vessel.
