THT’s fully equipped workshop and diagnostics equipment allow us to fully manage and repair the range of Fiat Professional Vehicles, including the Fiat Ducato. We regularly manage, service and maintain a lot of motorhomes and this client brought his vehicle to us, with the engine light on, and the vehicle low on power.
We were able to identify the fault through our diagnostics equipment and then following confirmation by testing, we confirmed that the throttle control valve had failed due to the stepper motor experiencing water ingress. With the control valve changed for a new, genuine component, we were able to have the vehicle back on the road quickly.
The throttle body was also replaced to ensure correct butterfly operations were not restricted by the EGR re-circulation. Our efficiency through having the best equipment for diagnosing ensures our costs remain lower to you.
