This AM38 had two Fiat Iveco 8361 SRM 37 (370Hp @ 2400rpm) Marine Engines which were becoming a bit tired. THT removed these two older engines as the owner wanted new technology and reliability.
The smart choice was made to install two new common rail FPT NEF 370 Marine Engines (370Hp @ 2800rpm). Due to the compact size of the NEF 370, allows for an easy changeover from the 8361.
The new engines have proven to be extremely quiet and perform exceptionally well for this client, who takes it to Rottnest regularly and always commends the low fuel usage for each trip.
